Too Personal?… Nah.

Good Stuff. Eh?! =P
I was thinking, is it possible for me to get too personal with one of these entries? Isn’t that how I always am? Yet I always seem to show it in a way that makes it publicly presentable!
Without further ado, let’s get to all the ups my week has had! Amazingly, through this entire week, nothing negative has happened. If some of you already know more personal things than I care to mention on this blog, you’re probably more surprised than most, but allow me to explain. Everyone should get the point by the time I am done.
I don’t know what I’m doing up. I found a few new motives to finish this entry. So, let’s go.
I watched this special about cell phone users, and how we’ve all become a more distant world while trying to remain connected. Though I’ve known this for years, it seems many people don’t really understand the concept that technology is pulling us apart– with some exceptions.
When we see people talking on their cell phones, we always wonder what they’re saying. That’s because this is our key element of communication. When we hear something we like, or don’t like, we have a tendency to respond to it… However, when half the population is on their cell phone, we don’t have the chance to respond [if we don't know or even if we do know the person] to what they are saying because we’re hearing only half of the conversation, leaving a lot in the air as to what is really being said.
It’s unfortunate that many of us think that by having a cell phone, we’ll gain popularity, or be able to interact with more people, when in reality, plans with more and more minutes just give us a way out of having good face-to-face time with people, and ‘connecting’ us more is just a bland (and horrid) substitute for actual physical interaction.
I thought about getting a cell phone jammer… and I will, but look out! The FCC is watching:
The FCC states the following: “The operation of transmitters designed to jam or block wireless communications is a violation of the Communications Act of 1934, as amended (“Act”). See 47 U.S.C. Sections 301, 302a, 333. The Act prohibits any person from willfully or maliciously interfering with the radio communications of any station licensed or authorized under the Act or operated by the U.S. government. 47 U.S.C. Section 333. The manufacture, importation, sale or offer for sale, including advertising, of devices designed to block or jam wireless transmissions is prohibited. 47 U.S.C. Section 302a(b). Parties in violation of these provisions may be subject to the penalties set out in 47 U.S.C. Sections 501-510. Fines for a first offense can range as high as $11,000 for each violation or imprisonment for up to one year, and the device used may also be seized and forfeited to the U.S. government.” link
Lol. They’ve never charged anyone with this crime… It’s pretty hard to find out if someone’s doing this, by the way, and even though they’re illegal in the US [to buy], majority of sales is generated by the United States. Great indeed! Prices range from $200 and beyond.
Aside from that, however, you can get brain cancer! Mmm, Sexy indeed.
I’m going to ramble a bit about what all has happened this week. You’re going to love hearing about it, and some of it precedes my previous blog post(s), so on with the show!
[Some parts of this post have been pasted from AIM conversations since I have provided an immense quantity of details to specific parties about certain situations, eliminating the need for me to retype all of the text.]
Today was, by far, one of my best feel-good days of the year. Everything went my way, except for the following:
+Didn’t feel like eating dinner.
+Cut myself shaving in 4 places (including my nose… 2nd time this has happened the night of a concert…)
I just rambled my heart out to someone, so I’ll do it to my Binary web server. (Is it binary? Eh, who cares?! It is if I say it is.)
So, my day (and evening, and night) was pretty amazing on Thursday. I honestly had no complaints. I had to do a concert tonight, and, whoa. There was this amazing bass player. He goes to MacArthur, I believe (for the record). He went all the way to All-State… If you would’ve seen how much he shifted on his solo– It was just mind-blowingly amazing. What’s additionally interesting is, I got to use the F-word to someone in an incredibly ecstatic tone. I’ve never had a chance to do that…
Normally when we use profanity, it’s to express disgust (etc.) with something. [That's how I use it, shit!] Anyway, after hearing the solo (and during), I wanted to slit my wrists. Not in some depressing way, since slitting wrists is normally used as as negative connotation to something. I just wish I would be able to play better with my instrument. I play Violin, in case you didn’t know. Last week, in my Orchestra class at Nimitz, we traded instruments and learned to play a new instrument (if you can call that learning). Regardless, I chose the bass, and didn’t realize it was such a pain to play. It’s actually an incredible challenge. Basses (or as they are more professionally referred to, the “Double bass”) are the largest instruments in any Orchestra, producing the deep sounds you hear but don’t realize you are hearing.
His solo was a very nice movement from [some artist... I should know this. So much for Music Theory! X_X] meant for a violin. Since basses produce such low pitches, a piano was brought in to accompany him. What’s amazing was, out of the five soloists that evening, he was the only one to memorize his music–very impressive. So when he was done, I tapped him on his shoulder and was like, “You don’t know me, but that was fucking awesome.”
A brief lesson on my speaking:
1) I don’t say “fucking” at random…
2) I never say “fucking” aloud to someone
3) I don’t say “Awesome” unless I really mean it [and I did!]
My response, further, was: Holy crap, that shifting was amazing. I mean… I can barely shift on my own instrument and it’s way smaller and I told him that we had switched instruments in orchestra this week, and that I played bass, and that my fingers were killing me. He said that he “could have done better”… HA! I replied with “You could’ve done hella worse… you could have been me!”And then finally I said, “So yeah, just thought I’d let you know that” and he said, “Thanks dude”… If only all people were as cool as that.
When the concert finished, two hours later, I went to the rehearsal room where a few nifty things happened.
1) I gave this girl my number. I heard [word] that she thought I was “hott” so I decided to try that out…
2) I saw this guy that looked cool… He kicked a piece of pizza to me, and I kicked it back, so that kept us [+one more guy] entertained for a few minutes… Yeah, somehow I’m going to talk to that guy again. Somehow… Maybe through #1? (;
In a hilarious Memo that ACAD[emy] sent me, I was being notified that I was in *DANGER* of failing a REQUIRED COURSE to GRADUATE! OH MY! Call the Counselors! Call Mommy! I’m in DANGER! Notice my Averages:
A A B C F… Uhh… That doesn’t look like “DANGER” to me. (C was Exam…) Regardless, it was something worth looking at to entertain me for a few minutes.
So back to that guy (who I don’t know his name…) and will, eventually. As I was walking out, I took a pizza box [with pizza in it! Leftovers from earlier] and was about to leave when he pulled on it and tried to take it away. I eventually was like “Here, have it!” and he didn’t want it… Lmao. That’s so a personal note, not meant for you guys to understand.
It’s purdy.
Also, I have a JOB INTERVIEW tomorrow… after my driving test.

Aside from that, Best Buy called me on Saturday and did a brief 10-Question Phone Interview. I did well enough that they’ve called me in for further scrutinizing–errr, interviewing, since I must have given decent answers on the phone. I even got the manager to say “cool”– I don’t think most people have the ability to warm up to someone that fast, eh? Regardless, that interview is at 4PM on Tuesday. Much luck in both departments… [Though I want Best Buy over the other one, Sears, as a Loss Prevention Manager. They probably won't like me anyway.]
I’m proud of myself. I’ve gotten rid of the people I don’t like, which I believe were holding me back from being a nicer person.
On Friday, excluding one faggot (literally! First and last sexual slur, I promise!), I was extra-respectful to everyone. I had my water bottle at hand, which eased the situation. You see, every time I wanted to insult someone, or say something negative, I drank from the water bottle. Sad that I had to refill it 3 times within a 40-Minute period, but who cares? It worked, and unlike before, I didn’t feel crappy; I realized I could actually carry on a conversation! Amazing…
To keep me happy, though, I needed to get rid of everyone that made me argue with them on a regular basis. And so it was done.
Moving right along…
I’m proud to announce that I’ve finally bought my headphones. Have a picture of my invoice!
