DONT READ THIS! Your health is at risk. Ramblings of the week.
Hey, word up! This is a truly worthless entry as something for me to look back on… Don’t read it if you don’t want to (;
A very wise man once said “Be careful how you word contracts”… Actually, it wasn’t a wise man… Or maybe I am. It was me being a smart-ass, but a smart-ass with a point. Oops!

I’ve had quite a few run-ins with teachers this week. This seems to top all the weeks as far as dismay with the administrative and educational staffs at various campuses. Regardless, I have remained relatively relaxed…
Yeah, right!
I did my first official day of work (though not the first day of pay– that was on Sunday with training, part one of two)… Though I can hardly call it work, because during the majority of the time I was there, I completed tests, eCompasses, which were quite slow at times. The slowest one was where you had to read something that took less than 3 seconds to read, and there was a screenshot of the BBY website (This particular eCompass was BestBuy.com v3.0 Training, the SLOWEST of them all). I then had to wait for the screenshot to scroll up to the bottom of the page, even though the screenshots were totally useless. ANYWAY, you’re probably getting bored just considering the idea.
I felt semi-accomplished, because I knew a majority of the information; I think the manager will be pleased that I finished all the eCompass ones that he told me to do. I have about 4 remaining, all of which are just tests with no reviewing like the other ones. Should be loads of fun. Part Two of Training occurs on Saturday, so there’s another four hours of pay for doing nada!
Moving on, let’s sum up my week.
Monday, I don’t think anything eventful happened there… All right then. I guess the only thing was I took a vehicle to drive to Nimitz? But that’s about it, I guess. I have the car now all the time, but we’re going to need another vehicle soon *Drools over RSX*… And…
Tuesday. Worked. Talked all about that… I shadowed my friend because the other two guys the supervisor (Chance) wanted me to shadow were not there. That was mainly due to eCompass Exhaustion, and I helped one customer. I walked him over to the other battery section, and told him that 16 batteries in one package were the maximum that BBY sold in one package. (I use BBY because it seems everyone else in the company does, so why not me?)…
Wednesday. Sat. Did nothing I think. That was grand. Oh wait, HA, That was yesterday– Go me. I called up UTD and they confirmed that they have everything that they need, but haven’t made a decision yet… I’m thinking I should write an essay and mail that to them, as well, and possibly a letter or two of recommendation… Especially Mrs. Lori Welch’s, who puts me as one of the top 10 most promising students of her career…
Now it’s Thursday. I was whiny last night because of all the nonsense. I called Sprint, and spent at least two hours talking with them; we configured a plan for two phones and X minutes (I don’t want to hear anyone complaining about how I don’t have enough minutes; I HATE PHONES!!! I barely use 2 hours a month at home, and that’s unmetered!) I have an old phone; I am in love with my old phone, so much that they tried activating it for up to an hour, and they could not, when I had called last month and two different representatives said that when I was ready I could activate the service. I already have the Voicemail and when you call my number it routes to that voicemail… I have no way of checking it yet or aything, Heh.
My plans for this afternoon… I have to call Best Buy. That should be loads of fun. Another update later on. Yay for w0rk! It keeps me busy. And for once, when I walk into Best Buy, someone will be knowledgable… Me… Because I just walked in, and… I’m knowledgeable. Thank you much. All for now.
