Laptop Keyboard Update… As you probably know (or have shockingly seen), my laptop keyboard is missing 19 keys as of the 18th of November, 2004. Unfortunately, I have to pay for the actions of someone else… Someone decided to pull the keys off of it, causing a huge amount of distress to my mother and me. Regardless, let’s move on to…

If you still don’t know, I’m buying a plane ticket for my Zack buddy, and I need money for the ticket itself, and a little bit for any expenses that may be incurred (OK, will be) by him and me as we do whatever. All contributions are welcome. There are no big donors this week, so there are no true names to mention….

Off-Topic: I wonder how many words I’ve misspelled in this blog… I found a nifty program called ieSpell. Basically, what you do with it is you right-click inside a Text Area and select “Spell Check” and you can add and remove words with an interface that entirely resembles Microsoft Word’s latest advanced features… I’m going to go back and simply click “Edit” on the latest posts and fix them… Sorry in advance for typo-ing– I can normally read what I’m writing and fix as I go along…

eBay is Weird and Creepy. You can buy a cheese sandwich with the Virgin Mary’s face on it, unaffected after 10 years of being exposed to air without a hint of mold. It’s TRULY holy. If you believe this, you make me laugh. I want to get a replica of this sandwich… They are selling them now. Want to make about $20,000? Yeah, I’m serious. Go ahead– eat and sell!

A lot of people call Electronica “Techno” and think it’s all one big thing. If so, how come neither Satellite Radio company (XM or Sirius) plays a station with just Techno and Trance mixes, since that’s the one that everyone knows and can recognize, or at least *thinks* that they recognize it…?

Spree Discussion, again. Apparently, I’m not sure if I will be able to buy exactly what I wanted… Studio Monitor Series DJ Headphones ~ MDR-V700DJ However, I found a large quantity of money under my bed, so hopefully I will be able to buy something with that… (Like the thing above?)

I’m all confused about what to buy *Tears*

Not Expected to be Mentioned, but here it goes… OFF-TOPIC:
I’m sort of disappointed. I don’t know what happened, but somehow my comment was deleted off of a X@nga that I really did want to post a comment on. I hadn’t talked to this guy in awhile and thought it’d be a semi-OK way to keep in touch with him, since I was in Music Theory class with him last school year. I had some problems getting along with most people in that class at the beginning of the year, but Raul (the guy in that class) was someone who entertained me, among a few other people. (There were only about 10 people in the class.)

I’m on a roll! Phone calls have to wait. Sorry.

Unfortunately, I don’t know what happened to the comment, so I posted another one, which was sort of graphic. If you want to go read it, I guess you can, if you know his user name. I don’t promote X@nga. Maybe it was a glitch but I’m not too sure– the two eProps were still there but not my comment. Xanga messed up recently (that was entertaining, and I loved it) so maybe it’s doing it again, or maybe someone doesn’t like me. Tragic. That’s why I don’t really go out of my way looking for people to like me.

Next Topic: Self-Confidence.

I know a lot of highly sophisticated (and high school ‘philosophically-thinking’ students) say that Self confidence should come from just that person–yourself. Why should it come from only yourself? Personally, if no one else gives you self-confidence, you are either a) hanging around the wrong people, b) totally disliked by everyone, or c) rejected because someone deleted your comment on X@nga …

Regardless, I believe self-confidence should come from a number of sources:
1) Things you have accomplished. For example, I am decent with image-work and site design. There’s something to feel proud of.
2) Things you are trying to accomplish. For example yet again, I am trying to lose (more?) weight, though I usually give in to temptation. However, over the summer I lost 15-20 lbs. Seriously a LOT of work.
3) People that think you’re interesting, and not just cool. If you have a specific attribute that sets you apart, feel special, and unique. You have that attribute. Now go share it with others.
4) People who don’t like you. If they don’t like you, and you probably didn’t do anything to cause that, that’s their fault. Let them wallow. You are better than them.
5) A Medium-Sized Ego. As I said, other people are a good source of being able to feel good about yourself, so don’t think, act, or walk like you’re better than everyone else. A lot of people don’t understand that, and granted, most teenagers feel that they are the best in the world, when in reality, all they really want is a good friend…
6) Friends. Don’t need to cover that one. If you need an example, please close your browser window.

The same girl mentioned in the previous blog has been holding true to her individual reputation… She’s spread things about me, saying I don’t like Mexicans at all. This is simply not the case. If you believe this though…

To everyone who doesn’t delete comments from me on their Xanga, thank you. To those who didn’t really delete it, and it was instead a glitch by the Xanga servers, I want to talk to you, too. I love all the people that respect me, and have intelligence. I may be whiny on occasion…

But if you can put up with me, and exaggerate about how much you like me by telling me, I will care about you even more. (:
